Visit to WA Heavy Parts in Honduras

In the second week of August, the CrushersPlus team and Brian Bell, VP of Parts and Service Department, visited WA Heavy Parts in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Mellott Company is always looking for distributors for Mellott parts and used equipment. The visit was geared towards discussing possibilities and opportunities relating to the CrushersPlus used equipment division and distribution of Mellott’s alternative parts. The visit presented a lot possibilities for both companies to work together in the markets of Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua for used crushing equipment and alternative parts.

WA Heavy Parts is a fairly new company, formed in 2010. They have people on the ground in three countries: Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua. WA Heavy Parts has grown rapidly in 5 years and Mellott Company is looking forward to helping them to continue to grow by contributing more alternatives for quality used and refurbished equipment and alternative crushers parts.

WA Heavy Parts expressed trust and confidence in CrushersParts byMellott Co. for future business. Both companies visited some of WA Heavy Parts’ main customers together in San Pedro Sula for 3 days.

 

 

CrushersPlus byMellott Co. and WA Heavy Parts were able to present the joint capabilities of working together for those customers. Due to the collaboration, alternative parts, used quality equipment, engineering and technical support were able to be offered together.

 

CrushersParts byMellott Co. and WA Heavy Parts visited some of the larger aggregate/asphalt and construction players in San Pedro Sula including: Cordon's Heavy Equipment, SERMACO - Servicios de Mantenimiento y Construcción S.A. de C.V., Profesionales de la Construcción Prodecon SA de CV, ETERNA - CONETSA / Ingenieros Contratistas, and Agrecasa.

 

 

Greg Spina, VP of Mellott Market Development, Brian Bell, VP of Parts and Service Department, and Sergio Gonzalez, Account Manager, reported that conversations with WA Heavy Parts were productive and many opportunities were identified for further development in the near future.
